Coffee, one of the most famous fermented beverages, resulting from roasted and ground kernels of the evergreen tropical coffee plant of the African origin. It’s one of the three most popular beverages amongst common people besides to water and tea. The wide popularity thereof is mainly due to its tonic effect resulting from the caffeine which is abundantly present there.

Coffee plant grows at altitudes ranging between 2000 – 6500 feet because it needs too much humidity in addition to its need for shadow, too. Latin America, the Arabian Peninsula, East of Africa, and Asia are convenient places for coffee cultivation and growth. 

It’s worth noting that Brazil is the biggest country in the world in terms of coffee beans production where its outcome amounts to more than one-third of the global production estimated which is estimated at 37% thereof, followed by Vietnam, in the second rank, with a percentage of 17% of the world production.

  • Espresso’s place of origin is Italy and the credit of this invention goes to a man called , Luigi Bezzera, from Milan, Italy.
  • Espresso is made of two main components only, finely-ground coffee beans 100% and hot water.
  • Espresso means “pressurized coffee” in an indication of water that is being pushed by a very high pressure energy on the finely-ground coffee beans.

  • One of the Italian coffee types emerged in the seventeenth century. It is so named because of its color that resembles the color of the Capuchin nuns’ clothes. 
  • Cappuccino is the result of mixing espresso with milk and milk foam evenly and it is ornamented with cocoa powder with the possibility of adding sugar as desired.
  • This type of coffee is rich of caffeine and antioxidants that protect the body against Alzheimer, for instance, in addition to a good percentage of calcium. 
  • Cappuccino is a traditional beverage in Europe and North America.
  • Cappuccino is mainly drunk in the morning along with pastry in particular.
