How to Make Turkish Delights at Home

  • Prepare three cups of water, one to dissolve starch, other to dissolve gelatin, and a third to boil on fire being sugar added therein until it dissolves completely, afterwards gelatin is added until boiling.
  • After that, the first Cup in which the starch was placed is added until consistency changes due to heat and becomes firm and thick.
  • Pour the mixture into a bowl, cover with parchment paper, spread the dough thereon. At this stage the dough is also kneaded with nuts.
  • After the mixture cools down, it is placed in the refrigerator, and then taken out, cut into small pieces and served with Turkish coffee.
